This be just another day, except that I’m one step closer to death today.
Birthdays are fun as a kid, when you get showered with present, but as an adult, it’s just a tedious event, where you have to humour your stupid relatives without getting anything in exhange.
Wait, doesn’t that sound a lot like scanlation? Oh well.

I know this is a sorry excuse of a chapter, but deal with it. Like I said before, I’m trying to get the last chapter of Vol 6 to be done on Christmas. I have an early start this month, so I hope it works out. If not, I will have a good new year’s resolution. So don’t u dare to bug me about the next chapter before. Thanks.

To keep the farce of birthdays and presents, here are the remaining Sakura keys for Steam:

Sakura Nova

Sakura Space

Grab them while they’re hot.

Enjoy~

  1. Try me.
I have 2 funeral in one week. one is my father and another is my grand mother. each one week long. It’s a tedious event where you have to humour your stupid relatives too.

Birthday doesn’t sound so bad anymore right?

  2. Thanks 4 the chapter!

Both his wife and future concubine are the martial kind. People might start thinking that’s his type.

    1. And I, as a reader, am fine with that, if I may be frank. I have a himekishi fetish. πŸ˜€

The joke aside though (or is it?), regarding birthdays, I’ve never liked celebrating my birthday, even as a little kid. Sure I got presents back then, but we have an annoying balloon popping tradition, which I hate, especially as a kid. As I grew up, my own birthday became less and less important, and nowadays, I must be reminded of my own birthday.

  3. Thanks for your work.

I hope both of us live until at least when they find that cure for aging they’re reseaching about.

  4. Happy Birthday don’t worry you’re still a kid by elf standards

  5. Hope you manage to have fun on your birthdays. Thanks for translating!

  6. And next will be the best part of each volume, the Waiting Maids chapter!

Though, as noted in the volume, it’s kinda sad that some day they’d have to leave for their own futures. Kinda took it for granted they’d be there forever…

Hope he eventually plays a game WITH them eventually

    1. I feel like The Three Troublemakers might make some kind of effort to stay in his service; nowhere else would they be able to get access to the treats, games, and other perks that accompany being in his favor.

      1. But I don’t think they can forever stay in the inner palace without becoming Zenjirou’s concubines.

      2. Maybe the princess will get Zenjirou past his hangups about concubines and he can take a bunch more. The three troublemakers are ideal. They can produce lots of bloodline magic babies and stay out of Aura and Zenjirou’s way in exchange for video games and ice blocks.

  7. “So they were not exposed to danger unless something unprecedented took place.”
    Flag! … Flag? Flag.

“(Well, I can do without trouble. I want to arrive in one piece.)”
    Nice save.

    Thanks again for the translation!

  8. Aye, thanks for the chapter!

I guess refreshing the site everyday is my die hard habbit now. Late happy birthday to you!

Happy birthday again!… hum~~…. I might have a present for you… wait there. Internet magic activate!!!

Here it is!! Might not be very good, bu here is the secret to make the perfect cake. No matter what you might make. It will be allways. Perfect… or at least that what they say. Enjoy.

  13. Thank you very much for translating this . Honestly i love reading LNs. I have read around 35 LNs and a few more are left to be started (mostly because of lack of official or fan translation) i myself help out in editing of LN. And this one easily is one of my favourites . For some reason i especially fond of isekai/ tensei genre .also for those who have watched SUITS tv show . Imagine zenjiuro as mike ross , well thats how i day dream atleast .

  14. Longer this series goes on, the more drawn in I am. This epilogue actually gets me hyped for the next volume so I don’t see what there is to complain about. Belated happy b-day man.

  15. Hey, long time reader here. I think i started reading this series when you had just finished translating the second volume. I’m a lazy asshole so i never bothered to say thank you. I’ve greatly enjoyed every volume so far and i’m grateful that you spent so much time to translate it for us.

Hope you have a great day πŸ™‚

  16. It’s been around one year since i’ve discovered Risou no Himo. And after reading quite a lot of webnovels, I came to the conclusion that Risou no himo is one of the best written. I don’t know if it’s thanks to the talent of the author or the great effort your doing in translation (i’m positive it’s both). If I saw your work and was told that it was an official traduction I whould have believed it.

Anyway, I hope you’ll continue translating this webnovel. It’s always a pleasure reading your work.

PS: Sorry if I made some mistakes, english isn’t my first language.

  17. Thanks for your translation! This series was a lot better than I initially expected, that was a very satisfying binge. Have a good year mate.

  18. Started reading this after seeing the manga. Looks like things go a little slow over here, I’ll be back in a year or two.
