Well, a surprise is always better when you don’t see it coming.
I’m too nice of a guy to let Christmas pass without a release and you guys were kind enough to give encouraging comments in the previous post, too.
So thank you for all the support and enjoy this Christmas present from me.
It is especially dedicated to my dear friend Archknight, who begged me practically every day for a release. Without him, I would’ve thrown in the towel long ago. Thank you, Arch, and a wonderful Christmas to you!

Now for the chapter:
HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG
Like I said before, it’s a friggin’ long chapter, but heck, wow! I don’t wanna spoil everything, but I promise you, that will be the best Christmas you ever had!

Nevertheless, this will probably be my last post in this year. The anime season just ended and I gotta do some catch up on my backlog. So, probably see you next year~

Merry Christmas~

  12. Thank you a lot, this novel has picked my curiosity and I thank you for the effort 😀 Have a nice christmas.

  13. Just a quick Editorial note. I think the word you were looking for instead of “jars” for things people were drinking from is “goblets.” Goblets, chalices, flagons, and mugs were various medieval drinking devices. You can google them, and they also formed a very witty little comic routine in a movie called The Black Fox. The Chalice of the Palace holds the Brew that is True.

    1. The movie you’re thinking of is “The Court Jester” starring Danny Kaye.

      And yes, it’s brilliant.

  14. Yay! BTW, when you say “pet bottle” I assume it’s referring to PET plastic? He’s not drinking out of some kind of dog dish, right?

  15. Wow, I didn’t notice that you had a Christmas surprise for us and only noticed it now. (like a real surpise lol)

    Anyway, thanks for the release.
I hope you had a good rest, a merry Christmas and
    a Happy New Year.

  16. Love your translation speed and quality. Thank you for the new chapter. hope you had a good holiday and have refreshed yourself. again thank you
